Switch Privacy

With Sky-Frame Switch Privacy, it is possible to switch the transparency of glass elements between transparent and opaque at will using a current pulse.

At the press of a button, the desired level of privacy can be created in bathrooms, fitness rooms, bedrooms or living areas.

Thanks to the innovative cable routing, the necessary electrification of the glass works for both fixed and sliding elements.

Switchable privacy integrated into the glass for both fixed and sliding elements from Sky-Frame.

Advantages:

• Low-maintenance and easy to operate
• Can also be used in wet areas 
• No need for additional structural elements such as curtains, sliding curtains, blinds, etc.
• Insulation glass can be finished with the same functional coatings (Low-E) as standard (identical colour character)
• Operation can be controlled by remote control, wall dimmer or individual home automation system
• Power consumption of the liquid crystal film at a low 5 W/m² (for comparison: PC monitor in standby approx. 10 watts)

The switchable film in the laminated glass is based on PDLC technology (polymer dispersed liquid crystal interlayer).
