Some vertical profiles (corner) have been optimised and the former "SLOPE" profiles have been renamed.
The following changes have been made:
With new profile shells and adapted roll-in geometry, the installation of the SF2 corner profiles (EV) has been significantly improved. At the same time, the additional steel insert of "EV L St" has been optimised (easier installation).
The corner profile of Sky-Fram 1+2 "EV S" was very rarely used, probably due to its low static values. For this reason, it was decided to replace the existing corner profile "EV L St" (=with steel insert) as a version without steel insert under the name "EV L" as a replacement. The "EV S" corner profile is therefore being discontinued.
The static values of "EV L" are slightly higher than those of the previous "EV S". The visible widths are only slightly wider.
Originally, the "SLOPE" profiles were only developed for inclined systems in order to prevent sagging of the vertical profiles with the attached steel reinforcement, so that they cannot bend and close again even in inclined systems.
As very high installations with high wind loads are now increasingly required and the "SLOPE" profiles have a very high static load-bearing capacity, it was decided to rename the "SLOPE" profiles to "XL St".
"MVe SLOPE" becomes "MVe XL St". These profiles thus officially complete the range for "XL" profiles.
These profiles can now also be selected in the Webshop.
