The running gears and the glass chalice sealing parts of "Sky-Frame 3 Plain" have been revised.
Thanks to the new arrangement of the standard SF3 "Carrello" running gears, which are now also equipped with a horizontal roller with felt head, all system glass can be used up to the maximum permissible size (2.3 x 4 m).
View / top view:
Blue = horizontal roller (connected to the front running gear and inserted in the grooves of the glass chalice)
Red = "Carrello" running gear (same type as SF3 standard)
This means that each sliding element now has 3 horizontal rollers (2x at the side, 1x in the centre) and is also neatly guided at the glass ends.
The sealing parts have been completely redesigned for use with the standard running gear and the tightness has been improved. The biggest difference is that the same basic body can now always be pre-assembled at the glass corner for all glass panes in the factory. On site, only the respective sealing parts (for Labyrinth, MVv, MVe, EV) need to be screwed onto the base body before the glass insert.
